    “Children are at school for a significant portion of the day – isn’t that enough?” This is a sentiment I’ve heard a ‘few’ times, and to be absolutely honest, I’ve thought it myself. There is some truth to the statement, however, we still set homework and we still expect our students to complete it. Why?

    Secondary School Update

    We are halfway through Term 3 and there have already been so many successes and .. so far, with still more to come.

    Thank you to our parents and students who attended our 2019 Year 11 Subject Information Night. It was well attended and we had our Senior subject teachers, as well as representatives from TAFE, CQU, JCU and the Defence Forces, discussing the changes that will be coming in Queensland’s changes to Year 11 and 12 from 2019. These are the most significant changes to occur in Queensland’s history and our teachers have been working tirelessly to ensure that we are prepared and leading the way in the new system.
